Arnold Wesley Hamrick

Arnold Wesley Hamrick, 88 years, passed away at his residence on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Arnold was born in Webster Springs, WV on August 3, 1937 to parents Melvin E Hamrick and Mary M (Lewis) Hamrick.

Arnold loved to sing and play Bluegrass Gospel Music. Traveled and sang gospel music at various church singings. He enjoyed Norma Jean's (deceased wife) home cooking and Arnold loved the West Virginia mountains. Arnold loved outdoor target shooting and deer hunting. He was an encouragement and loved to teach how to be independent and able to survive life's challenges and protect his family. Enjoyed time spent with friends and family.

Arnold is survived by his children Kathleen (John) Johnson, Charles (Cindy) Hamrick and Theresa (Bill) Miller. He leaves 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. He also leaves a sister Daisy (Tom) Necina and brother Stanley (Sandy) Hamrick and many loving nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, wife Norma Jean Hamrick and sons Michael and Wade Hamrick.

McLauren Funeral Home Pinecrest 12830 U.S. 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton NC 27520 is making arrangements for a graveside interment at a later date to follow at Charlestown Cemetery in Ravenna, Ohio.
