

A visitation for Asaemi "Emy" will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McLaurin Funeral Home, Clayton, NC.
Asaemi "Emy" Del Milagro Sosa Rodriguez, age 34, of Clayton, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Valverde Mao, Dominican Republic, on September 16, 1990, she was a daughter to Asael Sosa and Miriam Rodriguez. Emy attended Baruch College and obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration. She worked with Human Resources and Management/Educational Psychology. Asaemi was deeply respected in her professional life for her drive, intelligence, and hard work ethic.
Ai Lin, LCB • 2nd Import Manager at Charter Brokerage LLC, who was Asaemi's direct manager, had this to say on February 25, 2022, about her professionalism; “Asaemi is a very intelligent and diligent person.
She views the issue analytically and is methodological when resolving the issue. She is independent and very reliable for any tasks that need to be completed. She also has a gentle demeanor that'll put people at ease.”
Asaemi enjoyed attending Tend nights at the Church at Clayton Crossings where women met together to fellowship, worship, and hear a message from the Bible. She also enjoyed gathering with friends to dive into Scripture or other book studies to learn and grow in her walk with Christ.
She enjoyed spending time with her loving husband Ysidro and two sons, Yair and Dylan.
They loved trips to the beach with family and friends. Asaemi was a light to all of those around her. She had a genuine way of making others feel welcome, seen, accepted and loved. Her spirit was light, and her attitude was always positive. All through her battle with cancer Asaemi remained committed to the Lord and gave him praise for her life trusted in his plan for her life and found peace knowing she would walk with Him in heaven.
A gathering of family and friends will be held to celebrate Asaemi’s life on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 5:00pm-8:00pm at McLaurin Funeral Home at 12830 Clayton Blvd Clayton NC 27520
Asaemi is survived by her loving husband and two sons, her parents, sisters, and a host of loving friends and family.
