

Born in Wake County, NC, on January 29, 1994, he was a son to Randolph “Scott” McNeely and Effie “Anne” Smith McNeely.
Ben spent his young school years attending Willow Spring Elementary and Fuquay Middle School where he played in the school band. He went to Man High School in Man, West Virginia and graduated from there in 2013. Ben also attended Ralp R. Willis Career and Technical Center where he majored in Industrial Equipment Maintenance, earning several certificates in welding.
Ben served in the United States Navy in StrikeFighter Squadron 15 VFA-15. He loved drift and car racing, collecting and playing video games, and going to the beach. His greatest accomplishments in life are his kids, Liam and Caroline, who he loved more than anything.
Ben is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jesse Chambers and Wanda Dillo; maternal grandparents, Shade and Lenora Smith Davin, and his brother, Jason Rodney McNeely.
He is survived by his children who he adored, Liam Alexander McNeely and his little princess, Caroline Grace McNeely of Willow Spring, NC; his parents, Scott and Anne McNeely of Willow Spring, NC; brother, Christopher (Emily) Smith and his little hey dude Elijah Randall Shade Smith of Fuquay Varina, NC; special aunt, Susie Smith of Willow Spring, NC; Mama Jeanie Adkins and the Adkins family; the mother of his children, Dana; special friends, Vince Tolotta and Juston Blue; lifelong friend, Lance Page, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of his life will be held by the family at a later date.
