Benjamin Verne Miller

Ben was born on October 31, 1975 in Tampa, Florida to Zeda New Cagle and the late Bradley Verne Miller. He loved many things including his construction career, motorcycles, pitbulls, and hosting a pool party with all of his loved ones. Ben never met a stranger and to know him was to love him. You could always count on him to crack a joke or make a corny little rap out of anything that came to mind.

He is preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Vasin “Van” Miller, father, Bradley Miller, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his daughter, Mikaylah Omana and son-in-law Dylan Omana, daughter, Kassidy Miller (Chad Lilley; wife, Barbara “Renee” Miller; mother, Zeda Cagle and stepfather, Donnie Cagle; and brothers Jason, Tyler, and Ashley Miller.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 7, 2026 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Pastor David Sutphin officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
