Bettie “Louise” Webb Johnson, 88, formerly of Smithfield passed away Monday, December 14, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday in the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her husband James “Shade” Johnson and is survived by her 5 boys, James “Jimmy” R. Johnson of Amelia Island, FL, Tommy Johnson and Gene Johnson both of Cary, Glenn C. Johnson of Leland, James “Everette” Johnson of Lexington, SC, sisters, Hattie Holmes of Raleigh, Audrey Duncan of Garner, Peggy Rhodes of Goldsboro and Julia Price of Raleigh. Grandchildren, Kimberly Senter, Christy New, Tricia McDowell, Stacy Johnson, Megan Johnson, Tucker Johnson, Kristen Hughes and Meredith Futch, great grandchildren, Hannah Senter, Grayson Senter, Maddison McDowell, Abbie McDowell, Dylan McDowell, Lucas New and Katelyn Futch. While flowers are accepted memorial contributions may be made to Transitions Life Care 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC, 27607.
