Bobby Sheldon Godwin, 79, passed away on Friday, funeral service will be held 3:30p.m Monday at Bethesda Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Burden officiating. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park. He is survived by his sons, Gregory S. Godwin and wife Darlene of Smithfield, Jeffrey L. Godwin and wife Kristina of Fuquay Varina, sister, Nelda Evans, grandchildren, Andrew, Brittany, Katelyn and Abigail Godwin. Mr. Godwin was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Puckett Godwin.
