Bonnie Dunn Arnett

Bonnie Dunn Arnett, 73, passed away, surrounded by family, on Thursday, March 31, 2022. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She was affectionately know as “Baggy” to her grandkids and many others. She loved the Lord, loved to shop, cook, laugh and spend time with her family. Bonnie spent many years working in accounting at Variety Wholesalers and Builders Mutual Insurance Company where she made many friends and lasting memories. In retirement she focused on being a Nanny in Scott & Sherri Dunn’s home where she basically adopted Tenley as one of her own grandchildren. She loved that family like they were her own. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death her her parents, Ernest & Minnie Dunn; brother Ray Dunn and sister Violet Arnold. She is survived by her sister, Terry Arnett; daughters Amy Easterly and Erin Jones, Andy; grandkids Drew Carver, Tamara; Blake Jones, Nastia and Madison Jones; great grandkids Tessa, Twyla, Mila and Claire as well as many nieces and nephews. There will be a Celebration of Life service on Monday, April 4th at 6pm at Soul Church, 3060 Hammond Business Place, Raleigh, NC. Family will begin receiving guests at 5:30pm.
