Brenda worked in finance at First Citizen’s Bank for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and family who she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Murphy and George Bissette.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Lee Edgar Grubbs of Smithfield; daughter, Shirley Price of Four Oaks; sisters-in-law, Barbara Murphy Norris of Princeton, and Marliese Bissette of Kansas; grandchildren, Tristan Robertson and Zavion Price both of Four Oaks, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 11:00am in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00am. The interment will follow the services at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
