Brenda Lee Langman

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Brenda Lee Langman (nee Sprague), 79 years old, of Clayton NC. She passed away on October 16, 2025 at her home. Brenda was born April 14, 1946 in Harrisburg PA. to L. Edward and Janet Mathis Sprague, and was the beloved wife of Elliot Ira Langman, who preceded her in death.

During her childhood years, Brenda was an accomplished competitive figure skater. As a young adult, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ursinus College in PA. She went on to teach figure skating and work in interior design. Eventually, after moving to North Carolina, she built a career in real estate.

Brenda enjoyed gardening, cooking, entertaining, decorating, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Brenda’s kindness, creativity and love will be remembered always by those who were fortunate to know her.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Kelly Marie Heath; two stepdaughters: Robyn Roche and Marnie Richardson (husband: Mark Richardson) step granddaughter: Maya Richardson. Brenda’s sisters: Carol Willett and 2 nephews: Matthew Willett, and Zachary Willet. Debra Schnefke (husband: Jim Schnefke) and 4 nephews: Nathan Schnefke, Jared Schnefke, Brad Schnefke, Luke Schnefke.

A memorial celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenda Langman’s memory may be made to Red Barn Rescue in Clayton, North Carolina
