Carl Daniel Brooks

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, November 6, 2025 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Johnson officiating. Inurnment for Carl and his late wife Marcia will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service.

Carl was born April 12, 1950 to Paul and Alberta Brooks. He is predeceased by his wife Marcia Stone Brooks, his parents, brothers, Douglas, Kenneth, Curtis Brooks and sister, Jane BeCraft.

He is survived by his son, John Carl Brooks and grandson, Ryyan John Brooks, Brothers Tim and Jim (Cathy) Brooks; stepdaughter, Karen Sauls; step granddaughters Taylor and Kassidy Sauls; sister-in-law, Linda Brooks; in addition, his many nieces and nephews.

John and his family would like to acknowledge Transitions Life Care Home and Facility for their care and support. A special Thank you in appreciation for Diana, Anita and Betsy for their care and friendship. Lastly, the numerous Garner Classmates and lifelong friends that remained by Carl’s side on a daily basis.
