I worked with Carmen at Toddler's Inn Daycare. We had a great time at work as well as outside of work. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with Paul and the girls during this time. Just know she was loved by many.

I met Carmen and Paul Parker last year at REX Oncology. Our paths crossed because God intervened and connected us through Nurse Mona. I was a cancer patient at the time coming to the end of my journey and Carmen was right in the thick of chemotherapy. Getting to know her these past 15 months has been a blessing. Carmen and I joined Cancer Companions last summer which meets monthly. She shared the tough stuff she was facing. She loved her family so much and wanted good things for them. We cried a lot. We hugged a lot. We prayed a lot. I will miss her beautiful smile and sweet spirit. My deepest condolences to your whole family. What a touching service last night. Your sister in Christ, Suzanne

She and I worked together at Mt. Pleasant's Wee Care Preschool program where her children, and mine, attended. May the beautiful memories of her, sustain the family during this time.  💗

Carmen was my oldest daughter , Kaitlyn’s preschool teacher at Mt Pleasant 23 years ago. Over the years , our families bonded and we camped together from the NC mountains to Florida creating awesome memories with our children. 
She was even there for me and  my baby sister, Karens, battle with cancer. 
We’ve laughed and cried through the years. 
My heart is broken for Paul, Leah, Karsen and Kaden May. Through faith in God, Hope  and Love for one another, I know that Carmen is no longer in pain and she’s watching over us all with my baby sister.
Try to find comfort through your happy memories. 
I’m here for you and I promised Carmen that I would be loving on her Grandson for her  Karsen. XXXOOO

I have very sweet memories of Carmen.  We both worked at West Clayton Elementary as Teacher Assistants , drove and trained on busses.  We always had conversations of her sweet girls and family!  She was very proud of you all.   She  had the most beautiful smile  and such a caring lady.  She will be missed!

I first met Carmen at the gym when our youngest were in the child care together. We became friends immediately. Our families have been getting together for years. I would like to thank her for laughs, generosity and for being strong. You will be missed, but know that you are in your forever home. Our family is here to support each and everyone of the Parker's.

It was so sad to see this news this morning. I am praying for your family during this difficult time. I will always remember your mom as someone who wanted to help whenever she could. It is always hard to find parents to help at the high school level but she drove our DECA bus and was a chaperone for our trip. That takes a special person! I know she loved all her girls and I know she’ll still be looking out for you.

I met Carmen through Cancer Companions.  She was an amazing warrior who was sustained by her love for Jesus Christ.  We will miss her willingness to support others with cancer and their caregivers.

I am so blessed to grow up with cousins that are as close to me as siblings.  We did everything together growing up.  If I had one wish it would be to not take time for granted. Never put off  for tomorrow what you can do today.

I worked with Carmen at Baptist Center Church.  She was such a great woman and had a loving heart!  She was also my daughters pre-school teacher and my daughter and Kaden Mae have been friends since pre-school.    Unfortunately we were never able to come see her once she was sick because when she was well enough for visitors we were not.  My daughter and I have such great memories of Carmen and we are devastated that she lost her battle.  She will be missed by many.

I worked with Carmen at Cooper Elementary School. She alwats had a smile when we would talk. She was an awesome TA!! Working with was a pleasure!! Carmen you will be missed grestly!! She loved her family dearly and my prayers are with you !!!

We loved the Parker family from the day we met. Carmen was the sweetest and best Mom. I was so tickled when Rock and I ran into y’all months ago. We love y’all and I have no words as there are none. Remember the good times and always remember what she taught you girls.....you were her life. I can only imagine how tickled Karen was to see her! I pray you get some smiles through your tears as you know they are together laughing and smiling.  You have 2 special angels looking over you! We love y’all and are praying for you and sending tons of hugs.  XOXO

My prayers are with the family of Carmen.  I did not know Carmen that well, I have shared conversations with her.  We would get to work at the same time to come in the building.  She always had a a pleasant smile and she was always spoke so kindly when she said Good Morning.  I will continue to pray for the family and especially her the children.  Mom are a precious gift from God.  Cherish all your memories of her and continue to ask God for directions and to give you strength. He will do it,  Trust me, if He did it for me He will do it for YOU too.  Continuously, in my prayers.  God gained another Angel.
