A memorial mass will be held Thursday, November 6th at 11:00 am at St. Ann Catholic Church in Clayton, North Carolina.
Mrs. Cooley was born in Westfield, Massachusetts on March 31, 1951 to the late Richard Pyne and the late Sophie Pienkowski Pyne.
She enjoyed crafting, gardening, and sharing her collection of yard gnomes with the neighborhood. She had a smile for everyone and a wonderful sense of humor. She provided a loving home to many rescue dogs. Carolyn was a wonderful mother and strong Air Force wife.
She is survived by her husband and childhood sweetheart, Peter “Pete” Cooley - together for 60 years, married for 53; as well as two children, Caryn and Geoff; grandchildren, Samantha, James, Amanda, Paige, and Jordan; brothers and sister, Janet, Douglas, and Mark.
