Charles Fay Sasser, aged 85, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Mr. Sasser, a retired automotive Machinist, was born in Johnston County on August 12, 1939, to the late Fay Aycock and Vonnie Godwin Sasser.
He is survived by his son, C. Jeff Sasser of Clayton, brothers, Sherwood Sasser and his wife, Celia, Terry Sasser and his wife, Faye, and Edward Sasser. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Wood Sasser; brothers, Yates Sasser and Leon Sasser; and a sister, Joyce Maida.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 11:00am at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Clayton.
