Charles Brett Turchin

Charles Brett Turchin, born March 22, 1962, passed peacefully, surrounded by his family, on November 1, 2023. Charlie was born and raised in South Brunswick, NJ and worked as an electrician in New York City. He and his wife, Karen, raised their family in Hunterdon County, NJ, before moving to North Carolina in 2007.

Charlie loved watching and playing sports and was an avid NY Giants fan. He enjoyed cooking for his family and friends and was happiest when his loved ones were gathered together, enjoying his meals and laughing with each other.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Karen (Mee) Turchin; his children Kristen (Turchin) Ewald and Michael Turchin; and his three granddaughters, Kaitlyn, Khloe and Ella, who will always love and miss him.

A visitation for Charles will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00pm at McLaurin Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 2:00pm at Horne Memorial United Methodist Church, 2nd St. Clayton, NC. An entombment will occur Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Pinecrest Memorial Park Mausoleum, 12830 US 70 Bus Hwy W, Clayton, NC.
