Charles Roger Williams

Charles Roger Williams, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the age of 43. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 11:00am in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with the family receiving friends immediately following the service.

Charles grew up in Garner and attended Garner High School. He worked all his adult life in the acoustical ceiling trade and he was very good at it. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. He loved music and his animals. He loved his family and friends. He was known for his big heart and loved helping people when they needed him. He will be missed my many, especially his daughter, he called Boogie

He is survived by his daughter, KayLynn Marie Tart; mother, Kay Scott and her husband Hensley; father, Charles G. Williams; Aunt LaRue Tart; life partner, Holly Parton Tart; step daughter, Jayda Thacker; step son, Dawson Thacker; his extended family, Dylan, Donivan, Chrissy, David, Angie and Roger. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Durwood and Helen Tart, Uncle, Kenneth Tart, cousin, Barry Tart and a step son, Dylan Thacker
