Christopher Lee Colavito, 35, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at his home in Cary. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday April 10, 2017 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home. Lee attended NC State University and was the Director of Facilities and Distribution Services at the UNC School of Government in Chapel Hill. Lee is survived by his wife, Ashley Colavito; his parents, Chris and Mary Rose Colavito of Clayton; sisters Lindsey Colavito of Albemarle and Ashley Spates and husband, Micheal of Fuquay; parents-in-law Bill and Janice Dopman of Hobe Sound, Florida; brothers-in-law; Jim Dopman of Oakland, CA and Erik Dopman of Boston, MA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service from1:00 until 2:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the NCSU Veterinarian School, 1060 William Moore Dr, Raleigh, NC 27606.
