Christopher Walter “Chris” Krencicki, 51, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2019. Chris was born in Philadelphia, PA. He and his loving wife Christine met in 1991 and have been married 21 years. He had a huge sweet tooth and his favorite ice cream was green mint chocolate chip. Chris loved the beach and ocean, traveling the Caribbean, and all animals, especially black Labrador retrievers. His love of the ocean lead him to acquire and devote countless hours to his 125 gallon fish tank with African cichlids. Chris was an avid muscle car, motorcycle and boat enthusiast. His vintage Lionel train collection rivaled none and brought him great joy at Christmas. No one loved celebrating the Christmas holiday more than Chris, as he would start decorating in October. Children adored his playful nature, especially his nieces and nephews. He also took great pride in his show stopping lawn. Chris was an entrepreneur and proud owner/operator of CK Appraisals in Clayton, NC and found great satisfaction in assisting his clients with auto damage appraisals and diminished value claims. He will be greatly missed by his wife, family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home at 4:00pm with the family receiving friends following the service. He is survived by his wife, Christine Krencicki; parents, Chester “Chet” and Patricia “Pat” Krencicki; sister, Nadine Cooper and several nieces and nephews. While flowers are accepted, memorial contributions may also be made to the Johnston County Animal Protection League PO Box 607, Smithfield, NC 27577. Online condolences may be made to the Krencicki family at www.mclaurinatpinecrest.com. Arrangements are with McLaurin Funeral Home, Clayton.

I am client of CK Appraisals, although I only spoke to Chris a handful of times, he was always so nice and took time to answer all of my questions and offer his assistance. Prayers for the family during this difficult time.

I worked with Chris professionally and referred many clients to him for an appraisal of their depreciated car. No one took their job more seriously and with greater passion than Chris which is rare and was very much appreciated in a world full of people who just go through the motions with minimal effort. Prayers for his family.

I had met Chris in grade school, and hung out through Highschool. I have many fond memories of going to holiday lake in the summer to going out on the beach in new jersey at island beach state park, then Chris bought a boat. Going for boat rides near seaside NJ. Buzzing around the rancocas creek. Going water skiing and knee boarding, vacations at lake Anna. Then we have the car side of Chris. Chris and I are both car enthusiast and loved to talk about and show our cars from the big red truck to the trans am to many ford products. We had some really good times racing and showing our muscle cars. Rest In Peace my friend. You will be missed.
