

Chris was born in Huntington, New York to the late Mary Quinlan and Raymond James Frost. He graduated from Northport High School, and upon graduation entered into the field of Mechanics. During the course of Chris’ career, he was employed with Northrup Grumman, The Metro Transit Authority, and as a Supervisor for the Town of Huntington, where he eventually retired.
Chris had a passion for fixing anything, solving problems, and rebuilding cars and motorcycles. He was a man of his word and always had the best sarcastic and witty sense of humor. We are going to miss his dedication and loyalty to his family and friends. He was an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Clayton. Chris will be remembered for his hard work ethic, calm and peaceful manner with a contagious smile.
In addition to his wife Mia, Chris is survived by his son, Louie; brothers, Jim Frost, and his wife, Cathy, of Melbourne, FL, Tim Frost of Schenectady, NY, Mike Frost of Supply, NC; sister, Mary Jane Link, and her husband, Walter, of Holbrook, NY; sister-in-law, Kristina Bardaxis and Rachel, of Raleigh; brother-in-law, Michael Bardaxis, of Raleigh, NC; sister-in-law, Dottie Metcalf, and her husband, Tim, of Arizona; Father in law, Lou Soria and nieces and nephews, Annika, Sofi, Karisa, Elisha, and Sean.
Chris was preceded in death by our beloved fur baby, Lucy.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 11:00am at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Clayton. A visitation/remembrance for Chris will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 4:00 - 7:00pm at Brueggemann's Funeral Home, E. Northport, NY. A private interment of Chris, and his brother Ray, will follow.
