The cutest little girl in the world fell into the arms of her Lord and Savior on December 9, 2022 at the age of 84. Claudette loved everybody but loved her two sons Greg and Brian beyond belief. Claudette was the third child born to Felton and Alene Harrison on November 23, 1938. She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Billy; sons, Gregory and wife, Brandie and Brian and wife, Cheryl; grandchildren, Tyler and wife, Jackie, Garrett and wife, Maria, Brody and Cassidy; great granddaughters, Lucy, Emmy and Marley. She is also survived by two sisters, Martha Jones and Linda Warrick and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Harrison and an infant sister, Judy Harrison.
Claudette lived a wonderful life – she was very active in church and community work for many years. She retired from the NC General Assembly in 2009. She will be deeply missed by everyone that ever knew her.
A visitation for Claudette will be held in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church, 411 N Fayetteville St., Clayton, on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00. A memorial service will follow in the sanctuary at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church General Fund, PO Box 35 Clayton, NC 27528.
