A native of Brunswick County, Clifton was born May 22, 1946 to the late Ernest and Eva Mae Wilson Robinson. He was a graduate of Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College. Cliff retired from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. More than anything he loved to share the word of God. Cliff was a soldier for Christ, a Prayer warrior, and a deacon at Shiloh Baptist Church.
A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2018, at 2pm, in the McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8pm at McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 US 70 Business HWY W, Clayton, NC 27520.
Clifton is survived by his wife, Ann Pulley Robinson; son, David Harrington; sister, Ernestine Moody; brothers, Calvin Robinson and wife, Miriam and Paul Robinson and wife, Sheila; as well as several nieces, nephews.
