Mrs. Connie J. Jones

Funeral service will be held Friday, August 8, 2014 at Everett Chapel Church with pastors Stanley Kirby, Lloyd Hargis, and Michael Fields officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.

A native of Clayton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Elmo and Dorothy Jones.

Surviving is her husband of 42 years, Mickey Jones; father-in- law, Charles Jones; sister-in-law, Donna Lassiter and husband, Ron; nieces, Gracie Lassiter, Lily Vanderbilt, Angela Dunn, Leina Lassiter and Lexee Dunn; nephews, Wyatt, Samuel, and Tanner Lassiter and Levi Dunn; god-daughters, Cheri Evans and husband, Michael, Monica and Anna Fields; god-sons, Eric Petit and wife, Kristi, Micah and Aaron Fields; grand god-children, Tia and Cody Evans, and Avenlei and Breighan Petit; special loved children, Will and Brooke Mozingo and many beloved cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service.

Special thanks to the staff of the Community Home Care Hospice Service and Staff at the SECU Hospice House that took care of Connie during her illness.
