The last time I spoke or saw CJ was in my math class in high school,  junior year. I cannot pretend to say I knew him well, nor can I say I was close. I do however know that CJ and Justin were inseparable and that he deserved better. I want to believe he is in a better place, however I want more so to have seen him once more. CJ was nothing but kind and considerate to me and others even if such treatment wasn't reciprocated. Three years later I am now a grad student and I still find it deeply troubling that he did not have the opportunity to meet more people and experience life as anyone so young and as kind should. I hope it is known that CJ did indeed have friends, and that I still very much remember him.

CJ was a great friend, and he has been missed. I knew CJ for roughly a decade and he was on of my best friends. My favorite memories of him include playing Manhunt during game night, shiny hunting together in Pokémon, and playing Super Smash Bro's with him. CJ had an amazing ability to change everyone around him for the better, and was the kindest person I ever knew. CJ was like another brother to me and has been missed and will always be missed.

It's still hard to imagine that he is with the Lord. CJ was my brothers friend, but I bonded with him greatly. He was always a delight to talk to, to play games with, to be around. I remember when me and my brother, and our friends would get together and play manhunt together in the dark. CJ would always hide under his black winter jacket, and was impossible to find whenever he did so. I've known him for almost a decade, and I know i will miss him for the rest of my life. However, I will rejoice every day that he is with the Lord. I love you CJ.

CJ was like a brother to me always lifting my hopes up when I feel down his kind, thoughtful, loyal and most of all a amazing friend I'm so glad that I meet him and spending time with him was as blast. When I first found out about his symptom I was devastated and wish it couldn't happen to him but I wanted to make sure that it wouldn't ruin the times we had together. But now I wished I had the time to spend with him before his departure but I know that he's always watching me from above and is always their for me.

To my brother Craig and my niece Haliey, Please except my condolences from both myself and the family. I first met CJ and Haliey in 2008 when I travel to California to visit my father, I took CJ and Haliey to In-N-out Burger with their mother. CJ ordered the cheeseburger but then said he didn’t want the burger only the lettuce tomato, cheese and the roll this made me laugh. I had never seen that before although the time was brief it was a lasting memory. I will miss CJ very much and will always be thinking of his sister Haliey. He was a kind boy and will be missed. I also know his relationship with the Lord was sound and strong. Rest assured Craig and Haliey he’s home with the Lord.

I watched CJ grow from a small boy to a young man. He was a member of our small Pokémon group/family. He will be deeply missed. Lots of love to Craig and Haley. I love you all.💗

CJ was the sweetest young man. Despite going through tough times in the hospital, he didn't complain.  We could see his sweet soul in every interaction and I am grateful to have been lucky enough to be a part of his care team. 

What a beautiful spirit!!! I had a wonderful opportunity last July to visit Craig, CJ, and Hailey with a little surprise visit after many years of seeing them. We shared and talked about fun times in California and when they were much younger kids. 
What a handsome, sweet young man you have molded Craig! God has a reason and a purpose for him to bring him home!  May God bless you during this trying time but take comfort that god has placed a soldier to watch over you and Hailey! May god bless you! Love ya! 

CJ and Haley are part of my extended family as my daughter, Michelle is their loving aunt. I only spent a few times with CJ, but felt his special uniqueness. He was very much loved by all of us. His memory will be treasured in our hearts. Rest in peace.

CJ was always so kind to the point where I struggle to find one memory in which he wasn't helping someone, being kind, or smiling. It was such a pleasure to play switch games with him and to see him light up when we played a very cool hacked version of Mario Kart Wii. He always put others before him and cared about us a lot. You'll be missed CJ.

CJ was a super gentleman who always kind to others , especially to his friends and just enjoying life .  He was always there for you and sharing his love with Pokémon and his excellent skills with his games. He was an excellent roller skater too .   You are so missed , and we know you wouldn’t want us sad but instead be smiling and happy in sharing your wonderful memories. We love you CJ always forever.
