Craig Thurston Sullivan born on May 29, 1971 passed away unexpected January 17, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Melanie Kay Sullivan (Knapp), Clayton, North Carolina. Father and Step-Mother, Craig and Beth Sullivan, North Carolina. Mother, Linda Fatahi-Yar, Maryland. Step-Mother, Roberta Sullivan, New York. Sisters, Lisa (Jerry) Temple, Florida; Lynette (Cheivelle) Hill Sullivan, Maryland; and, Parvaneh Fatahi-Yar (Leon Pinchik), Maryland. Brother Thomas (Michele) Sullivan. Aunts and Uncles, Nina (Jeff) Benck, Ron (Vicki) Sullivan, Cindy Sullivan and Mark (Barbara) Sullivan. Several nieces and nephews, Justin (Celia) Temple, Joshua Temple (Jessica Race), Madison Temple, Brooke Hill, Chloe Hill, Cheivelle Hill, Jr., Taylor Sullivan and Tucker Sullivan. Craig enjoyed rebuilding antiques of all variations especially those with a family history. He and his wife enjoyed motorcycling through the mountains of North Carolina and more recently taking their hot rod cars to shows and events. Craig was an avid hiker and loved the Appalachian mountain trails and taking them on with his dear friend Robert (Tina) Hill. Craig was a devoted husband, a great son, brother and uncle. Craig was a loyal friend to many including good friends John and Sherry Crouse, Newitt and Frances Jones, Mike and Sherry Mobley, Bonne, Brian and Chris Duncan, Willie and Donna Ward, Keith and Carolyn Stottlemeyer and many more. He was a trusted friend and business partner to Kevin McLeod and their employees and associates. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life being held at McKinley’s Restaurant, Clayton, NC on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 4PM to 8PM.
