Dellen Louise Richardson, 78, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016. A native of Clayton, NC, Dellen was born May 11, 1938 to the late Remus Richardson and Daisy Robertson. She attended St. John Disciple of Christ Church in Wilsons Mills. In addition to her parents, Dellen was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Robertson, James "Skeeter" Robertson, and Harvey Richardson; and her grandparents, Alexander, Sr. and Eliza Richardson, who raised her. She is survived by her brothers, Ulysses “Billy” Richardson, of Raleigh, William "Willie Robertson and wife, Ramona, of Clayton, and William "Bill" Robertson and wife, Ella , of Raleigh. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 in the McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel at 12pm. Interment will follow at the Richardson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 23, 2016, from 5-7pm at the funeral home. Arrangements by McLaurin Funeral Home.
