Dennis Owens Jones, age 56, passed away peacefully at surrounded by family, Saturday, March 14, 2015. Dennis was born December 15, 1958 in Johnston County to the late Jeff and Frances Gower Jones. He was a hardworking, dedicated man that enjoyed life and loved to have fun. Dennis could always put a smile on your face. He loved his family and friends and would go out of his way to help them in any way he could. He will be missed! The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 2-4pm at McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 US HWY 70 Business W, Clayton, NC 27520. Dennis is survived by his son, Dustin Jones and wife, Tonya; grandchildren, ShiAnne, Isaiah, Joseph, and Lily Jones; best friend and companion, Nicole Elam; close friend and mother to Dustin, Minda H. Jones; sisters, Diane J. Price and Donna Jones and husband, Lee; as well as several nieces and nephews. In Addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Danny Jones.
