Raleigh: Donald Ray Price, age 77, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 1, 2015 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 5, 2015 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Fox officiating. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
He was a son of the late Willie Lewis Price and the late Virginia Strickland Price. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Price, and a sister, Jean King.
He was employed by Redi-Mix Concrete for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Webb Price; a son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Pam Price of North Wilkesboro; and two sisters, Rebecca Hawkins and Betty Lou Hayes.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 5, 2015 prior to the service at the funeral home.
