Donnette Maurice Fletcher Shoop

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 22, 2026 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Uzupan officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service, at the funeral home.

She was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on February 17, 1956 to the late Donald Fletcher and the late Reba Long Davenport.

She married Lynn Shoop in 1973 and together they raised 6 charming children. Her grand-children were her greatest joy.

Donnette worked as a Registered Nurse and enjoyed reading (she collected hundreds of books) and attending church.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Lynn Shoop; children: Lynnetta, Adam, Joshua, Heath, Benjamin, Matthew; grandchildren: Bethany, MaKenzie, Heath, Corey, Caleb, Sabella, Luke, Kaelin, Jonah, Liam; great grandchild: Vivienne; brothers and sisters: Donald, Dwayne, Kevin, Kathy, Teresa, Bonnie, Jeffrey ; Son in Law Steven; and multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, in-laws and her chosen church family.
