Mr. Edward Keith Presnell, 61, of Clayton died Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. He was born May 23, 1954 son of the late John Edward and Katherine Pearson Presnell. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Freeman. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, March 16 at 11:00 A.M. at McLaurin Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Alice Marie Presnell, a daughter, Wendy Rice and husband Kendall of Louisburg, a son, Brian Edward Presnell and wife Rebecca of Wake Forest, a son-in-law, Ronald Freeman of Selma, four grandchildren, Jessica Hamm and husband Scott of Youngsville, Justin Rice of Louisburg, and Jeremy and Jason Freeman of Selma, a great grandchild, Kinsley Hamm, one brother, Robert Presnell of Georgia, three sisters, Patricia Henningsen of Cheraw, SC, Diane Burchett of Franklinton, and Cindy Presnell of Cary and numerous nieces and nephews.
