Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 20, 2025 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton, North Carolina with Pastor William (Scooter) Murphy officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum of Pinecrest Memorial Park

.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Friday June, 20, 2025 at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Mrs. Aycock was born in Warren County, North Carolina on March 12, 1946 to the late Robert Kelly Carroll, Jr. and Christine Davis Carroll. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Julie Carroll.

She enjoyed Being a Mother, Grandmother, Carolina Basketball, and Hallmark Movies.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 58 years, James Benson Aycock, Sr.; children, Ben (Ginger) Aycock, Carol (Steven) Davis, David Aycock, Michael Aycock, Bradley (Maureen) Aycock; grandchildren, Georgia Aycock, Caitlyn Davis, Hailey Davis, James Aycock, William Aycock.
