EVELYN LANGLEY ZIMMERMAN August 14, 1924 – July 23, 2014 CLAYTON: Evelyn Langley Zimmerman, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 26, 2014 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Frank Zimmerman. She is survived by her five children, Don Zimmerman, Robert “Shorty” Zimmerman, Vicki Potter, Connie Chasteen and Frank Zimmerman; eleven grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; two sisters, Becky Phillips and Geraldine Bailey; and several nieces and nephews.
