Everett George Kalberer

Everett George Kalberer (Papa), age 85, of Clayton, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at home surrounded by family. Everett was born December 24, 1936 in Queens NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Grace Kalberer, and his sister and brother in law, Elaine and Louis Cork.

Everett had a beautiful full life but was cut short by a quick but hard battle with cancer. He was an amazing man that could do anything with his hands from machines, cars, building and gardening. The love of his life, Haydee was always his center of attention as they did everything together. He was a family man that always made sure everyone’s needs were met before his own. He was an amazing man that will be truly missed.

He is survived by his loving beautiful wife Haydee, his two kids, Kevin and Kelly (Bill), his 5 grandchildren Kyle (Kayla), Kristopher, Devin, Jayden and the little tough guy Mikey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Everett was the leader of the family and his love guidance and friendship will be solely miss.

A visitation for Everett will be held Monday, March 7, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 Us 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, North Carolina 27520. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 12830 Us 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, North Carolina 27520. A burial will occur Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 12:15 PM.
