Mr. Glenn Harold Bright, 49, of Clayton passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at his home. He was born October 3, 1966 in Cumberland County, son of Glenada Bright of Clayton and the late Donald William Bright, Sr. Glenn was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a devoted family man who loved to hunt and fish. However; his favorite pastime was playing pranks on everyone. He loved laughter and fun and brought a unique sense of humor wherever he went. In keeping with his proud Irish heritage, an Irish Wake will be held Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Heidi’s Two Wheel Café in Smithfield. In addition to his mother, Glenn is survived by his wife, Marie Bright, a son, Michael Bright of Clayton, two step-daughters, Tiffany Willett of Spring Lake and Jamie Beacham of Lillington, a brother, Donald Bright Jr. of Gardner, ME, a sister, Donna Hamel and husband Daniel of Wake Forest, and nine grandchildren.
