

Grady was born in Newark, New Jersey to Haskel and Myrtle Mack on May 8, 1936. He went to school in Newark, NJ. He married Hattie Mae Daise in Newark, NJ.
He worked as a metal diecastor for 20 years in Nutley, NJ. After retiring, he moved to North Carolina. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the United States Army.
Grady is survived by six children, Michelle, Eugene, Jerome and wife, Jeanine, Cheryl and husband, David Hester, Richard and wife, Nellie, and Darrin Mack and wife, Janet; ten grandchildren, Kawana, Antoine, Kahleah, David, Jr. and wife, Lydia, Demetrius, Dante and wife, Myra, Richard, Jr. and wife, Angel, Gary, Zakia and Darrin Mack II; four great-grandchildren, Dareios, London, Adriana and Dante, Jr.; sister, Vivian Washington; nieces, Sharon, Carolyn, Linda, Jody, and Cheryl, Deborah and Frances; nephews, Gary, Timothy, Anthony, Ted and Wendell and sisters-in-law, Linda Davis and Janice Levine.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Hattie; parents; daughter-in-law-, Linda; granddaughter, Jevone; sisters, Ruth Miller and Doris Chapman; brothers, Earl and Theodore Mack; and nephew, Bruce.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 12pm at McLaurin Funeral Home 12830 US-70 Bus. Hwy. W. Clayton, NC 27520. Memorial services, officiated by Pastor Reginald McGrady, will take place immediately following the visitation.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
