Helen Steadman Weiland

Helen passed peacefully in the company of her loved ones after a short battle with cancer. She is survived by her daughter, Ginny Harris, her two sons, Frank Weiland and Brian Weiland, Brian’s wife, Joyce Weiland, and her many grandchildren: Tyler Harris, Kylie Hopkins, Alex Harris, Claire Hopkins, Christina Weiland, Rachel Harris, Nicole Weiland, and Adam Weiland.

Helen has never met a stranger and was truly one of the easiest people to talk to. She is survived by countless friends from all stages of her life. Helen was loved by everyone around her, and she gave love without restraint or condition. Helen was a devoted Catholic and spent many years studying and teaching about the Bible. She was loyal, kind, funny, caring, generous, and a devoted friend and matriarch. Our hearts are hurting without her, but we find solace in the fact that she is no longer suffering, and is reunited with her daughter, Veronica Weiland, and her husband of 61 years, Ronald Weiland.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor to commemorate Helen’s life in the coming months. We appreciate your love and support at this time and will provide more details when we know them. Helen wouldn’t want anyone to be sad, so try to smile when you think of her. Know that she is always with us and will live in our hearts forever!
