We will never forget the smile Howard always had even when he talked about his health issues . I remember when he first put up a tower or an antenna pole. Richard Kitchen, I and a several of his ham buddies went down and helped dig and fill in the hole with concrete , bricks and cinder blocks. When lunch time came Teresa got hamburgers for everyone. The friendly atmosphere will always be remembered. We will never forget you. Rest in Peace Howard

I always enjoyed spending time with Howard, in person or on the radio. He could dish it out as well as take it. Intelligent, easy going and entertaining. My list of passed Amateur Radio friends is getting too long but every name represents someone who enriched my life in their own way. 73 Howard, de KS4TI Doug Williams

Howard, I'm going to miss you buddy. You were the first friend I made in Ham Radio when I went to my first JARS meeting. You were a mentor to me for many years and I learned so much from you and am very thankful for it. I am going to miss the late nights staying up talking on the radio until the wee hours in the morning. I only wish that I had been on the radio more often here lately, but I never saw this day coming so soon. 73 my friend. I know you're in a better place.
