

Hunter Michael Mosholder, age 19, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at his home in Raleigh, North Carolina. Born in Sterling, Virginia, on February 16, 2005, he was a son to Geri Larson Watson and Jeffrey Mosholder.
Hunter graduated from Garner Magnet High School in Garner, North Carolina, in 2023, and was a student at Wake Technical Community College from 2023-2024.
Hunter’s Lutheran faith was important to him. In his free time his hobbies included playing D&D, video games, marching band, which he had a passion for, history, and mythology. Hunter was very inquisitive, respectful, intelligent, funny, sarcastic, and loving. He was a kind soul who touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with. He always wanted the best for everyone around him.
A memorial service will be held for Hunter in the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 28, 2024. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm, just prior to the service.
Hunter is preceded in death by his grandmother, Rosa Watson, Grandmother Donna "Grammy Foor Mosholder of Bedford, PA, Great grandfather Gerhard Lohff, Great grandmother Lillian Larson, and Great grandfather Vernon Larson of Maryland.
He is survived by his mother, Geri Larson Watson and her husband Thomas Watson of Raleigh, North Carolina; his father, Jeffrey Mosholder of Virginia, his grandfather “Grampy” Karl Larson and grandmother Sylvia Larson of Fredericksburg, VA, his grandfather Glenn "Pappy" Mosholder of James Creek, PA, his Aunt Stacy Pierce and Uncle Randall Pierce of Fredericksburg, VA along with their children Elliana, Adelaide, and Bennett, Great Aunt Susan Larson of Fredericksburg, VA, Great Aunt Karen Baker of Anchorage, AK and Great grandmother Helga “Omi” Lohff of Mechanicsville, VA.
