A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in the McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park will follow. The family will receive friends Monday September 1, 2014 from 6-8pm at McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 US Hwy 70 Business West, Clayton, NC 27520.
A native of Nelson, VA, Hurley was born May 26, 1936 to the late David and Mattie Bagley Redd. He loved selling cars and spent many years with Harmon Volkswagen and Bobby Murray Chevrolet.
He is survived by his wife, Ora Wester Redd; sons, Hurley Jr., Van, Grant, David, and Danny Redd and their families; brother, Rodney Redd; sister, Esther Yates; and numerous family members.
