Jack Parker

A private family service will held on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Devoted City Church in Cary, North Carolina

Jack was born in Pontiac, Michigan on October 11, 1942, to the late Jack Burl Parker and the late Velma Max Thompson Parker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas “Tommy” Parker, his son, Terrance “Terry” Lee Parker and his stepson, Christopher Arthur Creech.

He received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Michigan State University and later an MBA degree from Wayne State University. In his professional career, Jack served as VP and CFO of Primark, a holding corporation and President of Orion Air when he retired. He enjoyed fishing and boating and was an avid reader and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Emily Dianne Griffin Parker; children, Dawn Alisa Parker, stepdaughter, Robin Creech Stanton, son-in-law, Rodney Alan Stanton, and daughter-in-law, Dianne Parker Heyerdahl; grandchildren, Maxwell Henry Parker, Quinn Edward Parker, Brezny Rae Stanton, and Brooke Camille Stanton.
