James Michael McReynolds

Clayton – James Michael McReynolds, age 71, surrendered to his battle with Pancreatic Cancer and has gone home to his almighty father, the Lord Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. He was at his residence surrounded by family. A memorial service will be held at 2pm Saturday, January 29, 2022, at McLaurin Funeral Home. He was born in Hillsborough County, Florida on July 25, 1950, to the late Clifton McReynolds and the late Geraldine Bliss McReynolds. Mr. McReynolds was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from Eaton Corporation. Mike, Mac, Pops, G-Pa, Dad, was a man of faith and loved by his family tremendously. He enjoyed family gatherings, movies, at the theater or at home, playing games, mostly checkers as he always won, Duke Blue Devils Basketball and of course his Tennessee Titans! He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his former wife and mother to his children, Deborah McReynolds; children, Carrie McReynolds, Jonathan McReynolds and wife Sheri McReynolds, David McReynolds and fiancé Alexandra Hocutt; grandchildren, Dean Merendino and wife Alexis Merendino, Audrey Merendino, Dominick Merendino, Aidan McReynolds, Cole McReynolds, Carson Perry, Dalilah Brown, Robert McReynolds, Breanna McReynolds, Mylik Barnes, Landen McReynolds, Layla Hilliard and Hunter Hilliard; great grandchildren, Sofia Merendino and Brentlee Merendino; sisters, Christine McLain and Kathleen Gish, as well as several nephews and a niece.
