

James Kevin O’Hara, 56, beloved husband, father, son, brother, passes in the loving arms of our Father on Sunday, November 22, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born in Cumberland, MD, June 19, 1959 to Paul and Carolyn O’Hara. Kevin lived a full life and was taken too early from us. His sense of humor was infectious and continued through his long battle.
Kevin adored his family who were his pride and joy. He could be found on the soccer and baseball fields with his children or walking in the woods with Ava, the family golden retriever. Gardening was his hobby and he was passionate about his yard and landscaping. Kevin was a NY Yankee fan from early childhood and could tell you any statistic of any Yankee from day one.
He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Teri; sons Bradley and daughter-in-law, Suzanne; Robert; daughter Allison, all of Clayton, NC; parents of Hot Springs, AR, brothers Stephen (Cindy), Sugarland, TX; David (Cheryl) Rural Hall, NC; sister Barbara Perry, Katy, TX; many nieces, nephews and great nieces.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 US Highway 70 Business West, Clayton, NC.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Colon Cancer Alliance, 1025 Vermont Ave. NW, Washington, D.C. 20005 in memory of James Kevin O’Hara.
