I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Buddy’s passing. I never know what to say during these times, I just take solace in the fact that he is holding gods hand now. Although we are sad, we still have our memories of him. It makes me smile knowing that he is not alone, he is with love ones who went before him.
We will all be together again soon. Uncle Buddy will always be loved and remembered.

I will miss James (Uncle Buddy) Thompson. Uncle Buddy was all about family and he always had a joke. He will be greatly missed. Thinking of you and wishing you moments of peace and comfort as we remember Uncle Buddy.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF JAMES ALLEN THOMPSON:
Known affectionately as "UNCLE BUDDY". He had nephews and nieces who adored and loved to be with him. Every time the family got together Uncle Buddy was there to brag on us, play with us, and to encourage us to be all that we could be. Never a harsh word came from his lips; only LOVE and a joke or two. Although so many years had passed and never to be with him again, we'll always remember "Uncle Buddy" the GENTLE giant with a huge heart full of love and with laughter, so contagious, it lifted your spirits. I pray that he is in Heaven dancing around the Throne with laughter echoing everywhere, celebrating with many of his closest family gone before him: Jenny (his wife), Ma and Pa (Grandma and Grandpa) Ola and Jesse Thompson, his sisters: Mary Parker, Frances Thompson Barnes and George Barnes, Sr. (my parents), his nephews: Rex Parker and Duncan Barnes, Jr.(my brother).
We will miss you, but hanging on to the very promise that one day we will all be together again FOREVER.
LOVE YOU ALWAYS,
LAURIE JEANNE (proud to be his niece)

To the Thompson family, you have my sincere sympathy for the loss of your dear dad and love one. "JT" and I worked together for more than twenty five years. He was a great friend and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May God bless all of you.
