Clayton: Janice Pounds Turner “Nanny”, age 88, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 6, 2015 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Colon L. Turner, Sr. and her son Colon Lee Turner, Jr.
She is survived by her four daughters, Janet Ferrell, Cassie Ferrell, Melody Hogg and Lisa Moss; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, June 5, 2015 at the funeral home.
