Jo Ann Creech Dupree, a loving wife, mother and grandmother went to meet her Lord and savior on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the age of 84. Jo Ann was born in Johnston County on February 7, 1940, to the late Perry and Eloise Parrish Creech. After the passing of her father, she, her mother and sister started a new life with her loving stepfather, Jacob Stephenson, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Jo Ann is survived by her daughters, Donna W. Adcock and husband, Dale, Denise D. White and husband, Gary, Kelly D. Cashwell and husband, Edward; grandchildren, Brett White and wife, Candace, Garrett White and wife, Jennifer, Cameron White and wife, Mandi, Evan Raymond and husband, Justin, Grace Cashwell and Grayson Cashwell; great grandchildren, Hayden Cook, Drew White, Carter White and Ryleigh Raymond. In addition to her parents, Jo Ann is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Donnie E. Dupree and a sister, Joyce C. Lee.
A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. While flowers are accepted, memorial contributions in Jo Ann’s name may be made to Heartland Hospice
