She is survived by her husband, Edward S. "Buddy" Womack; a daughter, Susan Renee Yosich; sisters, Jerry Nanfelt and her husband, Peter, Sonja Radford, Susan Tunstall and her husband, Buddy.
A visitation for JoAnne will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 from 11:00 to 12:00pm at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 3000 E Garner Rd, Raleigh, NC with the funeral service following at 12:00pm. The committal service will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Clayton.
