He is survived by his mother; Marie W. Bass of Clayton, his father; John R. Griffin of Angier, sisters; Rebecca Griffin Davis of Benson and Stephanie A. Griffin of Angier, brother; James R. Griffin of Angier, step sisters; Christie Pyatte and Tina Pyatte both of Angier. He was preceded in death by his Step Mother; Earlene Griffin.
