It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, John Kozlowski, who left us on May 15,2025, with his loving wife by his side.
Born in the Bronx, New York, on August 31, 1948, John grew up with a strong sense of resilience, humor, and compassion. He attended Baruch and received a business degree which he used to work as a purchasing agent. He made his family home in Hicksville, Long Island, where he and his beloved spouse built a warm and loving household. Together, they formed an unbeatable force. They raised two children who carry forward his values of integrity, hard work, and kindness.
John was a dedicated provider who worked to support his family. Whether through long hours on the job or quiet moments of guidance at home, he gave selflessly to ensure his loved ones had everything they needed. He led by example, teaching the importance of perseverance, love, and doing the right thing.
To his grandchildren, he was not only a source of endless stories and laughter but also a steady presence of unconditional love. His eyes lit up with joy in their company, and the memories they made together will be treasured forever.
John will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, his gentle spirit, and the quiet strength he carried through life. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know and love him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dora; his two children, John and Susan; his grandchildren, Gabriela, Isabella, Alexandra, Jackson and Jace; and many extended family members and dear friends.
A celebration of John’s life will be held on May 20, 2025, at 12 noon, where family will gather to honor and remember the remarkable man he was.
He was deeply loved, and he will be deeply missed.
