He was born in Wake County, North Carolina on April 13, 1964 to the late Leon B. Price and the late Inez Hamilton Price. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lee Price and his beloved dog Q-Tip.
John was an Auditor with the State of North Carolina and enjoyed spoiling his dog, granddongs (Effie and Vivian), and any other dog he met. He also enjoyed afternoon naps, any Madea movie, attending his daughters games/swim meets, and trips with his wife to the beach.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Audrey Kopp Price; child, Amelia Burns.
