Jonnie Jones Boling

Jonnie Marie Jones Boling went to be safe in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, October 19, 2020, at the age of 78. Her beloved husband; Redgar and son; Scott were by her side. She was born November 11, 1941, and resided in Clayton her entire life. She retired from the State of NC, Dept. of Public Instruction. She loved spending time with her family, reading, shopping and good food. Her joyous smile, gentle wave and kind heart would light up a room.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years; Lynn Redgar Boling, son; Dewey Scott Boling and wife Tammy, Granddaughters; Kandace Boling Reed and husband Johnathan and Elizabeth Boling Belcher and husband Stephen, Great Grandchildren; Connor Matthew Reed, Mallory Paige Belcher and Julian Austin Reed, sister-in-law; Cynthia Andrews and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Newitt Johnnie and Mattie Ryals Jones, brother, Edward Jones, sisters; Peggy Sanders and Sara Cooper, In-laws; Rev. Dewey C. and Margaret Louise Boling.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 22, in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home at 11:00am with the entombment following at Pinecrest Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends and family following the committal service.
