Joseph Franklin Soles, age 77, of Clayton, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. Joseph was born in Conway, SC on September 17, 1945 to the late Mack and Reatha Skipper Soles.

He is survived by his two sons, Joseph Soles, Jr. and Christopher Soles and his wife, Lynn; longtime companion, Betty Whiteman; his grandchildren, Dillon Soles and Angel McCraney; great granddaughter, Isabella Fonseco. In addition to his parents, Joseph is also preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Soles, Jr.

A graveside service celebrating Joseph's life will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 11:00am at Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton. The family will receive friends on Tuesday one hour prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00am at McLaurin Funeral Home, Clayton.
