Josie was born in New York, New York on March 10, 1937 to loving parents, the late Peter Fuscella and the late Anna Manfre Fuscella. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons Michael Chiappette and Peter Chiappette and her sisters Angie, Santa and Anna.
Mrs. Chiappette enjoyed time with her loving family and friends, praising her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, singing in the choir and teaching Sunday school before her move to North Carolina.
She is survived by her children, son Anthony Chiappette, daughter Joanne (Chiappette) Fontana, her son-in-law, Victor Fontana, her grandchildren Masheighla, Vanessa, Victor Michael, Julia, Michelle, Michael, Peter and Christina and her seven beloved great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
